Mary Kathleen "Sue" Adams(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Mary Kathleen “Sue” Adams, 94, died Monday, August 17, 2015 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, August 20, 2015 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Jason Stone, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the funeral home. Mary was born on June 8, 1921 in Bedias, Texas to Clarence and Naomi Sandel. She grew up in Lamesa and attended schools there. She married James Adams on March 13, 1954 in Plainview. After their marriage they lived in Tulia on the farm. James passed away on October 2, 2006. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tulia. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son: Bobby Eastham, a sister: Inis Greaves and four brothers: Wayne Sandel, Billy Jo Sandel, Herman Sandel and Merle Sandel. She is survived by three daughters: Beverly James of Plainview, Mary Riney and husband Tommy of North Richland Hills and Kay Bell of Irving, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
