Guy (Herm) Herman Chennault (Plainview)

Guy Herman (Herm) Chennault, 81, passed away peacefully in his home in Peoria, AZ surrounded by family on Monday, August 17, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with Mr. Danny Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the funeral home. He was born on June 7, 1934 in Vernon, TX. He was the son of Guy & Halva Chennault formerly of Plainview. He spent early potions of his life in the Vernon and Dallas areas. His family moved to Plainview in January of 1953, where he spent the majority of his life. When his dad died in 1997 he and his mom moved to Arizona to be near family. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmie Chennault; a nephew, Guy Floyd Chennault; and nieces, Margie Jones & Tami Daniel. He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Westbrook & husband Charlie and Sue Jones & husband Bennie all of Sun City, AZ; one brother, Randy Chennault & wife Nancy of Peoria, AZ; one sister in law, Alice Fitzgerald of Plainview; four nephews and three nieces. Herm was as pure of thought as any mortal being. His heavenly family will welcome him. They will treasure his sharing of his life experiences without the mental and physical limitations that afflicted him in this world. Many who know Herm considered him a “special needs” individual.
