Daniel E. Frausto(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Daniel E. “Danny” Frausto, 52, died Friday, February 13, 2009 in Amarillo. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Church of the Holy Spirit with Rev. Fernando Ruga officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A Rosary service will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M. in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Daniel was born on July 15, 1956 in Plainview to Felix and Lorene Frausto. He grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1974. He attended West Texas A&M University. He joined the United States Marines in 1974 and served in the reserves for several years. He did a little of everything. He worked at Sonic and at H&R Block. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. He is survived by four daughters, Dystani Cano of Tulia, Starlia Frausto of Tulia, Tabatha Perez and husband Jericho of Plainview, Cynthia Villarel and husband Robert of Tulia; his mother, Lorene Frausto of Tulia; two brothers, Ronnie Frausto and wife Margarita of San Antonio, David Frausto and wife Paula of Tulia; four sisters, Norma Frausto of Tulia, Debra Cruz and husband Ismo of Tulia, Nelda Garza and husband Joe of Tulia; Janice Rodriguez and husband Joe Rey of Tulia; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
