Marie Yandell(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Marie Yandell, 92, died on Friday, September 25, 2015 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Jack Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Marie was born on February 26, 1923 in Norman, Arkansas. She grew up in Glenwood, Arkansas and attended schools there. She married Sam Yandell in 1940 and they moved to Leonard, Texas until 1952 when they moved to Tulia. She was a housewife and a member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Tulia. She is preceded in death by her husband: Sam Yandell in 1998 and a son: Sammy Gene Yandell. She is survived by her son: Jim Yandell of Tulia, a daughter-in-law: Vida Yandell of Amarillo, one brother: Bill Mays of Sunnyvale, California, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
