Ina Ruth "Pat" Lane (Plainview)

Ina Ruth “Pat” Lane, 81, of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2009, in Plainview. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Northwest Church of Christ with Mr. Hugh Miller officiating and Mr. Lewis Senter assisting. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas at 3:00 P.M. under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pat was born on January 29, 1928 in Gasoline, Texas to Ernest and Orpha Morrison. She grew up there in Gasoline and Quitaque. She graduated from Quitaque High School in 1945. She attended Texas Tech University. She married Birt Lane on November 6, 1949 in Quitaque. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Birt Lane of Plainview; one daughter, Patti Miller and husband Mark of Floydada; three sons, Tim Lane and wife Pam of Plainview, Charles Lane and wife Carol of Plainview, David Lane and wife Debbie of Plainview; 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dale Setliff, Lois Bedwell; a brother, Murry Morrison; and a grandson, Cade Miller.
