Raul Valdez (Plainview)

Raul Valdez, 64, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla and Father John Ohlig officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Valdez was born October 5, 1951 in Plainview, Texas. He married Angie Aldaco on February 19, 1974 in Plainview. He graduated from Plainview High School and worked as a plumber for Gestus Plumbing, Wright Plumbing and Roberts and Son Plumbing. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sarah Valdez Perez and one sister, Janie Gonzales. He is survived by his wife: Angie Valdez of Plainview; one daughter: Monica Valdez and Jesse Salas of Plainview; four brothers: Jose Adame, David Valdez, Ismael Valdez and Roy Valdez; three sisters: Eva Aguirre, Rosa Valdez and Delores Luera; son-in-law: John Perez; four grandchildren: Alexis Delgado, Izik Delgado, Sophi Perez and Eleazar Perez.
