Jose H. Castellon Sr. (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Jose H. Castellon, Sr. 69, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 in Tulia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 9, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gilbert Del Toro Sr. officiating. Graveside services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Jose was born on February 20, 1946 to Manuel and Maria Castellon in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in Tulia and worked at the Tule Creek Gin for many years. Jose married Anita Leija on June 3, 1964 in Tulia. He was a member of the Betania Assemblia de Dios. He loved his grandchildren and his great grandchildren dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents: Manuel and Maria Castellon, his wife: Anita Leija Castellon, his son: Manuel Castellon. He is survived by his four children: Karen Laureles, Jose Jr. Castellon, Lera Garcia and Linda Del Toro, two brothers: Pascual Castellon and Luis Castellon, one sister: Linda Cisneros, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
