Don McCulloch (Plainview)

Don McCulloch, 79, of Plainview, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009, in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Harvest Christian Fellowship with Paul Cypert and Mark Leach officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6-7 P.M., Monday, March 9, 2009, at the funeral home. Mr. McCulloch was born on April 5, 1929, in Plainview to John & Nettie McCulloch. He married Jonell Buchanan on May 16, 1948, in Plainview. He has been farming in the Plainview area since 1948. He was on the Board of Directors for Farm Bureau and the Federal Land Bank. He was a member of Harvest Christian Fellowship. Mr. McCulloch was a man of great integrity and a very loving husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife: Jonell McCulloch of Plainview; one son: Ronnie McCulloch & wife Dawn of Plainview; one daughter: Donna Wilson & husband Rodney of Lubbock; three brothers: Bryan McCulloch & wife Joy of Plainview, Keith McCulloch & wife Dinah of San Angelo and Duane McCulloch & wife Sue of Canon City, Colorado; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
