Gloria Anne Gross (Plainview)

Gloria Gross, 78, of Tulia, formerly of Petersburg passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015. Graveside funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Carrs Chapel Cemetery near Petersburg. Arrangements were under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Gloria was born on June 15, 1937 in Tucumcari, N.M. to the late Jess and Wanda Adkins. She grew up in Floydada and attended schools there. She was a homemaker but later served as a Teacher’s aide for Petersburg ISD. She later worked for Perry Brothers as a retail store manager and Family Dollar before retiring in 2000. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Petersburg. She is survived by her children, Terri Thompson and husband Mike of Kress, Kristi Gross of Dallas, Mark Gross of Kirksville, Missouri; sister, Addie Hartline and James of Levelland; five grandchildren, Jonathan Thompson and wife Monica, Julie Rodriguez and husband Jose, Matthew Gross, Ryan Gross, Kyle Gross; one great granddaughter, Emmeri Thompson; great great grandson, Ashton White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
