Domingo V. Garcia, Sr. (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Domingo V. Garcia, Sr., 54, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11,2006 in the Church of the Holy Spirit with father Tony Neusch, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. Mr. Garcia was born July 19, 1951 in Kennedy, Texas. He grew up in Plainview, Texas and attended schools there. He was a self-employed contractor for several years. He married Mary Lou Chapa on October 24, 1971 in Tulia. She died January 5,2006. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Tulia. Survivors include three sons; Domingo C. Garcia, Jr. of Amarillo, David Garcia of Houston and Luis Garcia of Houston, his parents; Andres and Elisa Garcia of Seguin, Texas, two grandsons; Noah Garcia and Jason Garcia of Kennedy, Texas, four brothers; Gilbert V. Garcia, Andy V. Garcia, Jr. and Jacob V. Garcia, all of Seguin, Texas and John V. Garcia of Bremont, Texas, five sisters; Emma G. Perez of Segiun, Rosa Garcia of Seguin, Wanda Garcia of Houston, Carmen G. Martinez of Kingsville and Helen G. Luna of Kingsville, several nieces and nephews.
