Victor "Vic" Arnold (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Victor “Vic” Arnold, 86, died Thursday, November 26, 2015 in Tulia. In Lieu of formal services, which Victor certainly would not have attended himself, his sincere wish would be that you create happy moments with those that you most care about. Vic was born on July 9, 1929 in Cuervo, New Mexico to Oscar and Ora Arnold. He grew up on a Ranch Cuervo and later moved to Portales, NM in his teen years where he later met the love of his life Velva Mae Thompson. In January 1948 he joined the US Air Force. They were married in Portales, NM on November 9, 1948. The most important thing in his life was to serve Jehovah God and be loyal to him and the love for his family. He is preceded in death by parents: Oscar and Ora Arnold, his siblings: Andy, Wayne, Dolores, Audrey, Nadien and Greta. He is survived by his wife: Velva Thompson of Tulia, three daughters: Cecilia Haynes of Tulia, Velecia Arnold of Tulia and Vickie Hasley of California, two sons: Michael Dale Arnold of Ulysses, Kansas and Philip Bryan Arnold of Lubbock, one sister: June Hines of Palestine, TX, eleven grandchildren: Michael D Arnold, Jared B Haynes, Shalisa D Arnold, Breanna Chacon, Tara D. Jacobs, Seth C Haynes, Brooke N Murrell, Maegen Seymour, Luke Haynes, Lauren Ragan and Jessi Arnold, six great grandchildren and one on the way.
