Gary McBride(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Gary McBride, 62, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Vigo Park Methodist Church with Mrs. Lee Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Vigo Park Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Gary was born January 24, 1947 in Plainview to Parker and RosaLee McBride. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1965. He was a custom combiner from 1964 to 1978. He then started driving a truck until he retired in 1997. Survivors include his mother: RosaLee McBride of Vigo Park, five brothers and two sisters -in-law: Larry B. McBride of Bridgeport, Dale L. McBride of Canyon, Gale P. McBride and wife Jackie of Yuma, Arizona, Barton Z. McBride and wife Karen of Bridgeport and Lamar C. McBride of Canyon, six nephews and two nieces, three great nephews and three great nieces. He is preceded in death by his father; Parker McBride on Feb. 10, 1976 and a nephew; Jason McBride on April 17, 2001.
