Betty Wesley (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Betty Wesley, 81, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in the First Assembly of God Church with Mr. Harold Drake and Rev. Mike Springer officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Betty was born on June 24, 1934 in Tulia to Dave and Virgie Anderson. She lived in Vigo Park and attended the San Jacinto School until it closed, then she attended Tulia High School. She married Crawford Wesley on July 21, 1950. They moved to Tulia in 1951. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Walter Anderson and one sister: Hazel Pofahl. She is survived by her husband: Crawford Wesley of Tulia, one son: David Wesley of Plainview, two daughters: Virginia Brinsfield of Matador and Debbie Finch of Matador, one brother: James Anderson of Canyon, four sisters: Sue Langston of Plainview, Wanda Gamble of Amarillo, Rita McCollum of Tulia and Donna Anderson of Amarillo, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
