Tulia, Texas—Adron Gamble, 76, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Kress. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Oscar Chavez, Chaplain of Area Community Hospice officiating. Graveside services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held 5:30 to 7:00 pm Friday, December 18, 2015 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Adron Gamble was born March 5, 1939 in Whitesboro, Texas to Frank and Loretta Gamble. He grew up in Silverton, TX and at the age of 17 he joined the US Air force for 4 years. Adron came home and farmed around Silverton in the 1960’s where he later met the love of his life, Pam Waters. Adron and Pam got married on December 23, 1966 in Silverton, Texas. He enjoyed woodworking and making figurines out of metal. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Kerri DeGraff, and his son: Colin Gamble. He is survived by his wife: Pam Gamble, one daughter: Loredda Snapp, two brothers: Stanley Gamble and Dan Gamble, four sisters: Elaine Gamble, Norma McDowell, Evelyn Warren and Shirley Aldridge, 4 grandchildren: Demetria DeGraff, Sebastian DeGraff, Tristian DeGraff and Kierston DeGraff.
