Tommy Jimenez (Plainview)

Tommy Jimenez, 51, of Plainview passed away on January 21, 2016 in Columbia, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Hale Center, Texas with Rev. Kris Knippa officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Tommy was born on February 4, 1964 in Abernathy, Texas to Emilio, Jr. and Carmelita Jimenez. Tommy grew up and attended schools in Hale Center. Tommy worked for the Granada Theater for many years. He also worked in auto part sales and farming over the years. He married Irene Sifuentes on June 13, 1998 in Plainview. He is survived by his wife Irene Jimenez of Plainview; daughter, Melissa Jimenez of San Angelo; step-children, Angela Purieto of Lubbock, Felix Villa and Ray Villa of Plainview; father and step-mother, Emilio and Lupe Jimenez of Hale Center; two brothers, James Jimenez of Dumas and Mike Jimenez of Missouri; two sisters, Michelle Jimenez and Veronica Jimenez both of Lubbock; one granddaughter, Jazmin Orona of San Angelo; and seven step-grandchildren.
