Monta Dell Cline, 91, of Sulphur Springs formerly of Plainview passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Sulphur Springs. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. The family will have a visitation from 10 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Saturday morning before the service. Monta Dell was born on May 30, 1924 in Plainview, Texas to Monroe & Daisy Hopper. She married Edwin Cline, he preceded her in death. Mrs. Cline was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she served as secretary. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, and the American Legion. She moved to Sulphur Springs, Texas in 2007. She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Wayne Hopper, son, Buddy Cline and grandson, Bruce Wayne Cline. Mrs. Cline is survived by two sons: Bruce Cline of Plainview, Texas and Kenny Cline & wife Debbie of Mont Belvieu, Texas daughter-in-law: Ardith Cline of Cumby, Texas; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lance Cline, Craig Jeter, Trey Grayum, Travis Sherlock, Chad Sherlock, Ed Jensen, and Ron Steele.
