Jason David Gatica (Plainview)

Jason David Gatica passed away Sunday morning, April 19, 2009, in Austin, TX. He is survived by his wife, Erin, and two daughters, Eva, 2 years old and Nico, 2 months old; parents, George and Florinda Gatica; two brothers, Jeff Gatica of Denton, TX and Justin Gatica of Plainview; grandparents, David Hipolito Sr., Ignacio Gatica and Catarina Gatica; and countless of friends and family. Jason was born on August 24, 1980 and graduated from Plainview High School in 1998. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, Council Number 9997 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Austin, TX. Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Kornerstone Funeral Home in Plainview, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, April, 24, 2009 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview, with Rev. Arsenio Redulla. Burial will be at Park Lawn Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you make a donation to the Jason Gatica Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
