Glenn D. McCaslin (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Glenn D. McCaslin, 85, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Ewing officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Glenn was born in Swisher County to K.I. and Myrtle McCaslin on November 24, 1930. He grew up in the Salem Community and attended schools at Happy. He married Geneva Jo Daniel on August 8, 1949. They were married 65 years when she died on February 24, 2015. He worked for the Highway Department for 41 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Tulia Senior Citizens. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers; Billy McCaslin and Kenneth McCaslin and one sister-in-law: Becky McCaslin. He is survived by four sons: Eddy McCaslin of Tulia, Gene McCaslin and wife Claudia of Canyon, Teddy McCaslin of Tulia and Jimmy McCaslin and wife Jan of Tulia, two sisters: Betty Myers and husband Phillip of Tulia, JoAnn Ewing and husband Tommy of Tulia, one brother: Charles McCaslin and wife Mary of Canyon, one sister-in-law: Opal McCaslin of Tulia, 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
