Noemi Rios (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Noemi Rios, 76, died Monday, March 7, 2016 in Plainview, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia with Rev. Gilbert Del Toro officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A prayer service will be held 5:30 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Noemi was born September 10, 1939 in Ballinger, Texas to Rumaldo and Tiodora Rios. She lived most of her life in Tulia and attended El Buen Pastor Church in Tulia. She loved jewelry and the color red. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Rumaldo Rios, Jr., three sisters: Sally Calzada, Josepha Salas and Ermalinda Lopez. She is survived by one brother: Christobal Rios of Tulia, two sisters: Olivia Perez of Ballinger, Texas and Martina Garza of Tulsa, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.
