Carlton Lee Holland (Plainview)

Carlton Lee Holland, 84, passed away March 14, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday March 19, 2016 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor David Pool officiating and Judge Don Windle assisting. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Friday March 18, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Carlton was born October 4, 1931 in Corsicana, Texas to Aubie and Evelyn Holland. He married Emma Jane Applewhite on February 5, 1951 in Hale Center, Texas. They lived in Hale Center where they owned and operated H&N Electronics. They moved to Plainview in 1963 and renamed the business to Associated Communications, Inc. and were the first to offer mobile communication services in Plainview. He is survived by his wife: Emma Jane Holland of Lubbock, TX, one daughter; Tammy Rimmer & husband Bert of Gainesville, TX, two sons; Reggie Holland & wife Becky of Abilene, TX, Ric Holland & wife Donna of Atlanta, GA, one brother; Tommy Holland & wife Rita of Tres Ritas, N.M. ; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
