Gary Heller (Plainview)

Gary Heller, 62, of Plainview was called home on Friday, May 22, 2009, in Lubbock. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Northwest Church of Christ in Plainview with J. Henderson officiating and David Minson assisting. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Gary was born on December 30, 1946 in Amarillo, Texas to Everette and Betty Heller. He grew up and attended schools in Hart and graduated from Hart High School in 1965. He attended West Texas State University and graduated in 1969 with a degree in finance. Gary was a practicing stock broker in Dallas for 20 years before moving to Plainview in 1995 and assumed Heller Agency from his parents where he sold crop insurance. He was a member of the Norwest Church of Christ. He loved to play the Piano and he also loved office supplies and all kinds of gadgets. He married Rhonda Hayes on February 17, 2000 in Plainview. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Heller of Plainview; two sons, Ryan Heller and wife Gena of Colorado, Shawn Heller of Houston; three daughters, Stacy Offield and husband Tyson of Plainview, Rebecca Wesbrooks and husband Jason of Canyon, Meagan Bedwell and husband Larry of Canyon; one brother, Jerry Heller and wife Delores of Dimmitt; and 9 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family suggests memorials to the Northwest Church of Christ Building Fund, 2000 N IH 27, Plainview, Texas 79072.
