Tulia, Texas—Kathryn “Kay” Fletcher, 88, died on Monday, May 23, 2016. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Kathryn was born on December 16, 1927 in Lubbock, Texas to Grady and Annie Tadlock. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School. She married C.W. Fletcher on March 21, 1947 in Amarillo. They later moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 1968. In 1977 they moved to Tulia. She was a housewife; a member of First United Methodist Church and was a volunteer with Tulia Senior Citizens and Meals on Wheels. She is preceded in death by her husband: C.W. Fletcher, one sister: Ruthie Lelsz and one grandson: Mark Fletcher. Her family includes three sons: Jay Fletcher and wife Sheri of Enid, OK, Bart Fletcher and wife Toni of Albuquerque, NM and Jerry Fletcher and wife Miki of Loveland, Co, one brother: Travis Tadlock of Pittsburg, PA, three nephews: Travis Tadlock, III of League City, TX, John Lelsz and Danny Lelsz, both of Houston, TX, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family would like to express their heartfelt love to her caregivers; Janie, Linda, Celeste, Brissa, Emma and Loreen and also Leslie Thompson and her team at Accolade Hospice.
