Tulia, Texas—Elizabeth “Bell” Yarbrough, 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Leroy Green officiating and assisted by Rev. Matthew Veals. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Bell was born on August 12, 1936 in Sabine, Texas to Thomas and Luellar Johnson. She attended schools in Turkey. She gave her life to the Lord at a very young age. She moved to Tulia in 1958. She worked for the Tule Lake Golf Club, Marie Rucker and Dee Waggoner for many years. She was a member of Jackson Chapel Church for over 40 years and mother of Greater Love Outreach for six years. She is survived by three sons: O’Neal and Sherri Yarbrough of Lubbock, James and Gwen Yarbrough of Amarillo and Douglas and Vanessa Yarbrough of Amarillo, one daughter: Othella Miller of Tulia, three step-sons: Charles and Cora Yarbrough of Tulia, Percy Yarbrough, Jr. of Tulia and Michael Paul Barrow of Tulia, 36 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter and many others she raised as her own.
