Lisa Renee Evans (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Lisa Renee Evans, 51, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Tulia Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Rusty Gray officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Lisa was born on August 22, 1964 in Rockwall, Texas to Denis and Jean Tanner. She graduated from Rockwall High School in 1982. She got her CNA license in the 1980’s and started working as a nurse. She worked at Highland Elementary as a teacher’s aid and a computer teacher. She renewed her CNA license and started working as a nurse again. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and was a fan of George Strait and Elvis Presley. She was a member at Tulia Christian Fellowship. Lisa enjoyed going to the Tulia High School games and was the biggest fan of Kami and Abigale. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her two daughters: Kameron Grace Evans and Abigale Kay Evans both of Tulia, one step-brother: Sam Hayworth of Rockwall, one step-sister: Amy Hayworth of Rockwall, several cousins, aunts and uncles.
