Matthew Lee Southerland (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Matthew Southerland, 44, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 23, 2016 in the First Assembly of God Church in Tulia. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Matthew was born on December 23, 1971 in Plainview. He grew up in Tulia, Olton and Plainview. He worked as a prison guard in the TDCJ system. He is survived by his parents: Don and Linda Southerland of Tulia, his daughter: Heaven Lee Southerland of Tulia, one brother: Neal Lynn Southerland of Plainview and one sister: Cynthia Southerland of Plainview.
