Johnnie Lones (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Johnnie Lones, 58, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Plainview. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10:00 am in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Johnnie was born in Tulia on September 29, 1957 to Edward O. and Sally Marie Lones. He grew up here and attended Tulia Schools. He served in the National Guard. He worked for Jennings Harvesters for over 20 years and Dale Southerland Construction for several years. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Wayne Lones and Don Lones. He is survived by a daughter: April Guenther of Amarillo, a son: Steven Cole of Tulia and two grandchildren: Caleb Shipman of Tulia and Melody Guenther of Amarillo.
