Guillermo Carbajal, Sr. (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Guillermo Carbajal Sr., 86, died Friday, July 01, 2016 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Guillermo was born on June 25, 1930 to Toribio and Maria Carbajal in San Marcos, Texas. He started working at Roll-A-Cone in 1972 and retired from there. He married Rita Carbajal on August 4, 1950. She passed away in 2001. Guillermo was a very happy man. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and three sons: Manuel Carbajal, Joe Carbajal and John Carbajal. He is survived by five daughters: Rosalinda San Miguel of Tulia, Herminia Noriega of Tulia, Blanca O. Ramirez of Kress, Mary Olivarez of Tulia and Rita Garza of Kress, three sons: Guillermo Carbajal Jr. of Tulia, Frank Carbajal of Tulia and Saul Carbajal of Planiview, one brother: Florentino Carbajal of Brownsville, three sisters: Amelia Mendoza of Houston, Tina Acuña of Houston and Beatrice Carbajal of Mexico, 34 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
