Raymond Sherwood Love (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—, Raymond Sherwood Love, 75, died Friday, July 1, 2016 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Sherwood was born November 22, 1940 to Jack Raymond and Nancy Pauline Love in Tulia, Texas. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1959. He married Wanda Blackwall on August 24, 1959. He owned and operated Love Brothers Auto Supplies in the 1960’s. He later sold his business and started working for Tulia Auto Parts as a manager. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tulia. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Dennis Love. He is survived by his wife Wanda Love of Tulia, Texas, one daughter: Kimberly Rhae Hunt of Rustin, Louisiana, one son: Frank Dezane Love and wife Gena of Amarillo, Texas, four grandchildren: Cody Love, Stefanie West and husband Doug, Brandon Hunt and wife Brittany and Justin Hunt, four great grandchildren: Carliegh West, Cayden West, Cash Hunt and Felicity Hunt.
