Brook Ann Sims Robinson, 37, of Lubbock passed away on July 14, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. Services will be 2 P.M. Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Family Church of the Nazarene in Plainview, Texas with Rev. Doug Yates and Rev. Mike Page officiating. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday July 17, 2016 at the funeral home. Brook was born on December 13, 1978 in Amarillo, Texas to Doug and Jane Sims. She attended Plainview High School where she graduated in 1997. She later attended Amarillo College where she received an Associate’s Degree as a Dental Hygienist in 2000. She worked for Dr. Rusher in Plainview before moving to Lubbock to work for Dr. Lisa Wentz. Survivors include two daughters, Kristyn Robinson and her fiancée, Payton Harrell of College Station, TX and Paige Robinson of Lubbock, TX; her parents, Jane and Robert Canon of Lubbock, TX; one brother Landon Sims and wife Danielle of Seminole, TX; one sister, Bethany Sims of Lubbock, TX; two step-sisters, Leticia Canon of Dallas, TX and Tiffany Canon of Lubbock, TX; step-Grandparents, Bob and Dorothy Herman of Wolfforth, TX; one aunt, Sandra Sims; one uncle Johnny and Shelia McLaurin; a niece and nephew, Harper and Britten Sims of Seminole, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Sims; grandparents, Paul and May Sims, and MD and Helen McLaurin.
