William “Bill” Tone, 58, of Plainview passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 in Plainview. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2016 at 2 P.M. at Trinity Life Church with Pastor Steve Rogers and Pastor Steve Martinez officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Monday August 29, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, TX. Bill was born on July 28, 1958 to Theodore and Edwardine Tone in Manhattan, New York. He worked for Hess Oil, Johnson & Johnson and he served in the army for 6 years, 9 months and 8 days. He was a Supply Sgt. at Fort Hood, TX, Germany and in Sarajevo, Bosnia. He was line building Sgt. for Patriot Missile Systems as well as a Fire Control Operator at Fort Bliss, TX. He moved to Plainview, Texas in 2000 and he was a TSA manager in Amarillo, TX for 14 years. He married Monna “Jodi” Mullins on February 3, 1998 in Las Cruces, NM. He was a great Dad, husband, Poppy, son, brother, uncle and cousin and loved all of his friends. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Tone; 2 brothers, Robert Tone and John “Jay” Tone; one aunt, Carol Fagan; and his Nana, Marie McGovern; his father-in-law, Ross Mulllins. He is survived by his wife, Monna “Jodi” Tone; two daughters, Melissa Hilarczyk and husband Nicholas and Lindsay Nacarratto and husband Louis; his mother, Edwardine Tone, one step-son, Michael Lannoye and his wife Tina; two step-daughters, Melany Lannoye, Michelle Spencer and fiancé James Warren; his mother-in-law, Monna K. Mullins; his sister Laura Pischetola and husband Sam, and his brother Richard Tone; his sister-in-law Martha Tone; his three brothers-in-law, Bobby and his wife Marcia Mullins, Fred Mullins, Rick and his wife Theresa Mullins; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
