Evelyn Culp (Plainview)

Evelyn Joyce Culp, 74, formerly of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Main Street Church of Christ in Petersburg, Texas. Interment will follow in Strip Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Evelyn was born on October 20, 1941 in Lubbock, Texas to Earl & Essie Briggs. Mrs. Culp married Jack Culp on October 7, 1960 in Petersburg. She lived in Lubbock for many years and was a member of Monterey Church of Christ. She currently lived in Bertram and was a member of Bertram Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Jack Culp of Bertram, Texas; one daughter, Lisa Scott of Round Rock, Texas; one son Brent Culp of Austin, Texas; two granddaughters, Mallory Scott of Round Rock and Alyssa Scott of Round Rock and one great grandson, Jackson Scott of Round Rock.
