David Musick (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— David Musick, 61, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church in Tulia with Rev. Jason Stone, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Vigo Park Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. David was born on January 2, 1955 in Waco to Derrel and Dorothy Musick. He attended schools at Vigo Park and Wayside before graduating from Dimmitt High School. He attended Texas Tech and later received his electrician’s certification from Amarillo College. He married Denise Culwell on May 4, 2007. He worked as manager for J.D. Heiskell Feed Mill in Friona for 5 years and was currently working for Seaboard Foods in Guymon as assistant feed mill supervisor. He is preceded in death by his father, Derrell Musick and his sister: Debi Deiterman. His family includes his wife: Denise Musick of the home, his mother: Dorothy Musick of Grapeland, TX, one daughter: Kesha Richardson and husband Scott of Happy, five sons: Stacy Musick and wife Robin of Hereford, Ronnie Musick and wife Lisa Jackson of Waco, Drew Musick and wife Lori of Elgin, Cody Nolen and wife Charla of Tulia and Toby Nolen and wife Michelle of Tulia, his brother-in-law: Steve Deiterman of Waco and 12 grandchildren.
