Ian Phillip Major (Plainview)

Ian Phillip Major, 31, of Plainview passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday September 22, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview, Texas. Ian grew up in Illinois, Guam, New York and Plainview. He graduated from DeVry University with a BS in Business Management. He worked a variety of jobs with the most recent being at the Hale County Airport. Ian was a member of the Plainview Elks Lodge. He cherished his two nieces, had a love for cooking and loved all animals. Survivors include his parents, Ray and Angela Major of Plainview; two sisters, Monica Pool and husband Ricky of Lubbock, Kayla Davis and husband Tate of Lubbock; two nieces, Audrey and Kennedy Pool of Lubbock; grandmother, Betty Major of Windsor, NY; and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Elks Lodge #1175, 908 N IH27, Plainview, Texas 79072.
