Lou Ann Young (Plainview)

Lou Ann Young, 59, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 26, 2016 in the Family Life Chapel of First Baptist Church in Plainview. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be 4-6 P.M., Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the funeral home. Mrs. Young was born November 8, 1956 in Amarillo, Texas to Truitt and Joyce Whitehead. She married Kelly Young on May 8, 2011. She graduated from Plainview High School and worked at College Hill Elementary for many years. Lou Ann was a member of Church on the Rock in Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Joyce Lee Whitehead and her sister, Brenda Martin. Lou Ann is survived by her husband, Kelly Young of Lubbock; two sons, Nathan Hinn of Lubbock and Addison Hinn of Amarillo; her father, Truitt Whitehead of Plainview and one brother, Steve Whitehead & wife Cindy of Dallas. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
