Tulia, Texas— Virginia Love, 87, died at 3:44pm Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2006 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Lindley, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. Family and friends visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. Mrs. Love was born on April 10, 1919 in Kress to the late Curtis and Annie Mae Sanders. She graduated from Kress High School and was a member of the Kress United Methodist Church while living in Kress. She married Thomas Hayden Love on October 9, 1938 in Clovis, New Mexico. They farmed and lived in the Love Community for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tulia and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hayden Love; a son-in-law, J.T. Hale; a great-grandson, Bobby Beilstein; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Hale of South Haven, Mississippi; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Donna Love of Fort Worth; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ralph Wright of Lubbock; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
