Michael Ben Groce (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Michael Ben Groce, 69, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 in Tulia, TX. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Michael was born on January 10, 1947 in Abilene, Texas to Rodney Ben and Mary Rose Cook Groce. He graduated from Odessa Permian High School. After graduating he joined the United States Marines and served in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1969. He later attended college in southern California and worked as a Land Title Insurance agent for 26 years in California. He married Judith Ellen Bales on May 13, 1983 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Michael was proud to serve in the United States Marines. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Jimmie Brantley, Lonnie Brantley and Steve Groce.
