Colleen Gore (Tulia)

Colleen Gore, 72, died Sunday, April 23, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2006 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Davenport, retired pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the directions of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Colleen Isham was born January 31, 1934 to Lillian Lee and Luella Isham in Vian, Oklahoma where she grew up and graduated from Vian High School in 1951. She married Doyal Gore on June 29, 1952 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. After their marriage they moved to Tulia. She was a homemaker until the kids moved out of the house and then she worked for Gibson’s, J-Gee’s Dept. Store and was currently working for Alco in Tulia. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Doyal Gore of Tulia, one daughter, Vickie Moss of Amarillo; two sons, Randy Gore of Tulia and Glenn Gore of Tulia; four sisters, Joy Reavis of Joplin, Missouri, Floral Bennett of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Dean Philpot of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Patsy Abercrombie of Claremore, Oklahoma; three brothers, Deleo Isham of Delano, California, Arnold Isham of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and Jimmie Isham of Claremore, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, Sheena Luella Moss, Brian Neil Gore, Jennifer Kay Bishop, Harris Alan Gore, Alexandria Nicole Gore, Dalan Cole Gore, Samantha Renee Gore, Parker Doyal Gore, Stephnie Ann Gore, Grant Michael Gore, Raphael Lucas Gore and Litisha Jazelle Gore and 6 great grandchildren, Ty Bishop, Clay Bishop, Chase Bishop, Allison Bishop, Tate Gore and Seth Gore. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kiowiah Isham and Odell Isham. Memorials may be made to the Heart Hospital of Northwest Texas, 1501 S.
