Ninfa Salazar Martinez (Plainview)

Ninfa Salazar Martinez, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Funeral mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be held at 6 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Martinez was born August 28, 1938 to Enrique & Juanita Salazar in San Antonio. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by four daughters, Isabel Alvarez of Plainview, Maybelle Monreal & husband Richard of San Angelo, Emma Schoen & husband Wallace of Cedar Creek and Benita Reyes & husband Juan of Buda; two sons, Reynaldo Martinez & wife Cristi of Hartley and David Hidrogo of Austin; two brothers, Pete Salazar & wife Sally of Floydada and Blackie Salazar & wife Mary of San Marcos; one sister, Pauline Baca of Silver City, NM; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
