Royce Lynn McMennamy(Plainview)

Royce Lynn McMennamy, 78, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10 A.M. in the First Baptist Church Sanctuary with Dr. Tim Marrow officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview. Royce Lynn McMennamy was born on January 12, 1938 to Roy and Eula Pyeatt. She graduated from Hart High School in 1955 and then graduated from Baylor University in 1959. She married Melvin McMennamy on June 11, 1960 at the First Baptist Church in Hart, TX. They owned England Supplies and she was the owner of Creative Stitchery. They were lifelong residents of Plainview and were members at First Baptist Church in Plainview. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin McMennamy; her parents, Roy and Eula Pyeatt; an infant son, Jon David McMennamy; a brother, Jon Oliver Pyeatt; one grandson, Brynn Naylor. She is survived by two daughters, D'Ann McGuire and her husband Robert of Shallowater, TX, Deedra Bowles and her husband Gary of Longview, TX; four grandchildren, Mica and James McGuire of Shallowater, and Brandon and Keeley Bowles of Longview.
