Inez Richardson (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Inez Richardson, 100, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 in the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Eddy Helms and Rev. Brian West officiating. Burial will follow in Lockney Cemetery in Lockney, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Inez was born on September 21, 1916 in Greenville, Texas to Grover and Ada Horn Thomas. She is preceded in death by her two husbands: Archie Phillips and Odie Richardson, one daughter: Marie Tompkins, one son: Bobby Phillips and one grandson: Dale Philips, five brothers: Grover Thomas, Winfred Thomas, Floyd Thomas, Buster Thomas and Wendell Thomas and four sisters: Mattie Shockley, Ida Mae Harden, Ruby Hester and Josie Johnston. Her family includes two step-daughters: Ann Moore and Sis Culifer, one sister: Winnie Smith of Silverton, six grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 15 great, great grandchildren and three great, great, great grandchildren.
