Tulia, Texas— Norma Finck, 73, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 28, 2006 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ernie McGaughey, retired Methodist minister officiating and Rev. Rob Lindley, pastor assisting. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. Norma Cooper was born April 15, 1933 in Cordell, Oklahoma to A.H. and Olive Cooper. She moved to Tulia at the age of three and lived here all her life. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1950 and from West Texas State College in 1954 with a degree in Business. She married Orville Finck on January 24, 1954 in Tulia. She was the bookkeeper for her father at Cooper Electric for several years and after his death she was manager for three more years. She also was the bookkeeper for Finck Farms. She was an avid Bridge player. She served as 4-H adult leader for 42 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities including Sunday school teacher, Superintendent and numerous other committees. She served on the board of trustees when the church was last renovated. She was a homemaker and a loving grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Orville Finck of Tulia, one daughter and son-in-law, Deana and Jimmy Sageser of Edmonson, two sons and daughters-in-law, Trent and Cynthia Finck of Tulia and Alex and Rhonda Finck of Tulia and seven grandchildren, Derek Finck, Ky Finck, Hillary Finck, Kendra Finck, Bethany Finck, Sabrina Sageser and Drew Sageser.
