Genette White (Plainview)

Genette Perry White, 99, of Plainview passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 2, 2016 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Genette grew up in Oklahoma and attended schools there. She married Robert White and they farmed for many years. She was a homemaker. He preceded her in death in 1983. Genette moved to Plainview from Whitesboro in 2005 and was a member of the Assembly of God. Survivors include her brother, Arnold Perry and wife Lenora of Canyon; two Sisters-in-law, Forence Perry and Zelma Perry of Plainview and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to Area Community Hospice in Plainview.
