Ramiro P. Guerra (Plainview)

Ramiro P. Guerra, 93, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. Funeral mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be held at 6 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Guerra was born May 28, 1923 to Fernando & Dorotea Perez Guerra in Bastrop, Texas. He married Maria Ester Arredondo in January of 1945 in Spur, TX. She preceded him in death on December 13, 2002. Mr. Guerra was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by five daughters, Irene Hipolito & husband David of Plainview, Rose Vigliante of Brewton, AL, Erma Cardenas of Brewton, AL, Velia Guerra-Taylor & husband Jimmy of Amarillo and Janie Davis of Covington, LA; two sons, Ramiro Guerra, Jr. & wife Alison of New Orleans, LA and Fernando Hector Guerra & wife Diana of LaPlace, LA; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
