Tulia, Texas-Ismael Rosales, 51, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 23, 2016 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Gilbert Del Toro officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Ismael was born on October 30, 1965 in Memphis, Texas to Marcial and Virginia Rosales. He was raised in Tulia where he attended Tulia schools. He later proudly received his GED in April of 2013. As a youth he joined Tulia Boxing Club and was trained under Curtis Day, who was a great role model. He received many trophies and recognition for his boxing throughout the Texas panhandle. He was dedicated and passionate about everything he did in life. He worked 21 years at Scottco Mechanical. In 2008 he was awarded Employee of the Year by his co-workers. Ismael was extremely proud of his family but most of all his grandchildren. He had a compassionate heart that was full of love and life. His presence was immediately known when he entered a room. His contagious laughter and smile was known to all. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Daniel Rosales. He is survived by his wife Rosie Ramirez of Tulia, three daughters: Roxanne Renteria and husband Gustavo of North Richland Hills, Jacqueline Castellon and husband Andy of Tulia and Adrianne Del Toro of Tulia, one son: Luke Rosales of Tulia, five brothers: Manuel Rosales of Plainview, Gabriel Rosales of Corpus Christi, David Rosales of Amarillo, Marcial Rosales, Jr. of Tulia and Harvey Rosales of Euless, two sisters: Gloria Elizondo of Amarillo and Mary Sepeda of Amarillo, six grandchildren: Jazlynn Del Toro, Eliana Renteria, Alayna Del Toro, Audrey Castellon, Austin Renteria and Jaxson Castellon.
