Tulia, Texas—Laura Jean Gardner, 70, passed away on December 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 30, 2016 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Jean was born on March 13, 1946 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Robert Lee and Mamie Johnson. She moved from Lawton to Pampa, Texas. She worked for the Sirloin Steak House in Pampa. She moved to Tulia in Oct. 2001 and married Juluis Gardner on February 14, 2002. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert Lee and Mamie White Johnson, her son: Tony Johnson one brother, four sisters. She is survived by her husband: Juluis Gardner of Tulia, sons: Kevin “K-Mann” Williams and Latrina Yarbrough and DaShawn Ards, daughter: Lillian Williams, Bridgette Vaughn and husband Jimmy, special daughters: Tina Clayton and husband Jerry, Neva Johnson and Stephanie Barrow, step-daughters: Regina Sims, Connie Westbrook and husband Bill and Sheila Martin, step-sons; Dennis Allen and Kenneth Ray Allen, three sisters: Norma Harris, Wanda Harris, Wilma Henderson and one brother: James Harris. Special sons: Edguardo Mendoza, Jerrod “MoJo” Irvine, Alex “Katt” Williams, Jason Williams and Leonard Tinner, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
