Anna Bel McJimsey (Tulia)

Silverton, Texas—Anna Bel McJimsey, 83, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in Dumas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 6, 2009 in the Silverton Cemetery with Rev. Terry Hart officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Anna was born February 20 1926. She graduated Dimmitt High School in 1943. She married Arthur McJimsey on June 18, 1944 in Tulia. She moved to Silverton in 1968 from Dimmitt. In 2005 she moved to Dumas. She was a hairdresser. Mr. McJimsey died September 24, 1979 in Silverton. She is also preceded in death by a daughter: Sherrie Wynn. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law; Raymond and Idella Crum of Dumas, one sister and brother-in-law: Juanita and Vernon Mattice of Amarillo, three nieces and one nephew.
