Malaki "KiKi" Venable (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Malaki Anthonee “KiKi” Venable, 13 months old, of Amarillo passed away on August 3, 2009 at Dallas Children’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Tulia with Mariano Moreno officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Malaki was born on June 24, 2008 in Amarillo. Survivors are his parents, Michael and Nicole Venable of Amarillo; paternal grandmother, Susan Sanders of Lubbock; paternal grandfather, Lonnie Venable of Tulia; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Garza of Amarillo; maternal great grandparents, Sara Contreras of Tulia, Jose Contreras of Tulia, Maria Villareal of Slaton; two uncles, A.J. Garza of Amarillo, Leland Venable of Florida; three aunts, Shelly Venable of Florida, Tiffany Venable of Amarillo, Sara Garza of St. Lake City, Utah; and many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Adelino Garza, Jr.
