Clara Coranette Goodgion (Plainview)

Clara Coranette Goodgion, 94, of Plainview passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Kyle Brock officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Goodgion was born on November 3, 1922 in Clarendon, Texas to Leonard & Terra Putman. She married Warren E. Goodgion on October 18, 1937 in Canadian. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2006. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother, one sister, one granddaughter, Tammy Waller & husband Paul and one great granddaughter, Michele Waller. She is survived by two daughters, Trixie Gatlin and Donna Phillips & husband Leonard of Plainview; one son David Goodgion & wife Betty of Amarillo, two sisters, Joan Kidd of Clarendon and Yvonne King of Hedley; four grandchildren, Mark Phillips of Plainview, Tiffany Lanier & husband Chris of Amarillo, Jason Goodgion & wife Mariel of Amarillo and Kelven Gatlin & wife Tia of Abernathy; and four great grandchildren, Trey Waller of Plainview, Ayden, Cole and Davis Lanier of Amarillo. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the Area Home Care team and the Area Community Hospice team and also to her two other caregivers; Vera and Stephanie for such loving care.
