June Looney (Tulia)

Happy, Texas-June Looney, 86, passed away on January 7, 2017. No services are planned. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. June was born on June 22, 1930 in Henrietta, Oklahoma to Bill and Clemmie Mundell. She grew up in California and Oklahoma before settling in Amarillo in 1944. She married Francis Looney on February 22, 1947. They lived in Amarillo until 1983 when they moved SW of Happy to farm. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Francis Looney of Happy, one daughter: Linda June Looney of Happy, one son: Francis Looney, Jr. of Happy, one granddaughter: Jennifer Nicole Looney of Dallas and two nephews: Jack Looney, Jr. of Amarillo and Kenneth Mikkelsen of Del City, Oklahoma.
