Jeanne Askew (Plainview)

Jeanne Askew, 63, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Plainview Memorial Park with Kim Hays officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Askew was born on December 31, 1953 in Plainview, Texas to Paul & Bettye Jo Hays. She married Ronnie Askew on July 8, 1994. She was a member of South Plains Church of Christ in Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband and father of her daughter, Gary Wayne Scott. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Askew of Lubbock; one daughter, Melia Selman & husband Ricky of Sherman; four brothers, Kim Hays & wife Donice of Kress, Kelly Hays & wife Delana of Dumas, John Hays & wife Cece of Sunray and Joe Hays & wife Roxi of Lubbock and two grandchildren, Ashley Selman and Kyndle Selman.
